This past week, on Tuesday, Sept. 23rd, while playing in the Milford Invitational at Capilano Golf Club, our own James Lepp fired an awesome round of........... 59!

James was playing in a group with Dale & Colin Bosa and former Canucks defenceman Dennis Kearns. We don't have all the details, but James shot 31 on the front nine and 28 on the back, for his course record score of 59, breaking his previous best at Capilano by 3 shots.

So, who else has shot rounds of 59. The only recorded rounds of 59 in professional golf were shot by Anika "Ms. 59" Soranstam at the par-72 Moon Valley Country Club in Phoenix, David Duval at the 1999 Bob Hope Classic, Chip Beck, and Al Geiberger. Phil Michelson shot 59 in the 2004 Grand Slam at Poipu Bay Golf Course in Hawaii.

I am sure that others have accomplished this feat as well, but not very many of us!
