Hole by Hole Course Tour

Rolling hills, spectacular nature-filled vistas, and a fair but challenging test awaits you at Ledgeview. It may not be the longest course, but it is far from the easiest.

Blue Tees (men's)

Par 70 | 6,212 yds | 70.1 rtg | 129 slope

Silver Tees (men's)

Par 70 | 5,749 yds | 68.0 rtg | 129 slope

Green Tees (women's)

Par 70 | 4,964 yds | 69.6 rtg | 127 slope

Hole 1

Hole 1 - Par 4

344 yards | Blue

325 yards | White

297 yards | Red

Hole 1 lets you ease into your round, asking only for a 200 yard shot off the tee to the top of the hill, setting up a relatively simple approach to a modestly sloped green. Longer players may try to drive the green, but risk a difficult chip if they find themselves on the wrong side of the hole.

Hole 2

Hole 2 - Par 4

367 yards | Blue

348 yards | White

301 yards | Red

Still not feeling warm? No problem. Like hole 1, the 2nd gives you the option to lay back with a 200 yard shot off the tee, leaving a straightforward approach. Ripping a driver is an option, but makes the hole considerably more narrow.

Hole 3

Hole 3 - Par 4

325 yards | Blue

300 yards | White

285 yards | Red

Only 325 from the back sounds easy right? Let the members tell you, Hole 3 is one of the most difficult holes on the course. There's no simple way to play it as it requires accuracy off the tee and pinpoint distance control on the approach.

Hole 4

Hole 4 - Par 3

173 yards | Blue

156 yards | White

130 yards | Red

A beautiful downhill par 3 with a relatively flat green (for Ledgeview's standards), the 4th Hole is one of the easier holes on the course. With a solid tee shot, you should have a great opportunity for birdie.

Hole 5

Hole 5 - Par 5

476 yards | Blue

452 yards | White

438 yards | Red

All of Ledgeview's Par 5's play substantially uphill, so 476 yards on the 5th actually plays closer to 525 yards. A long drive up the right side gives a chance to get home in two, but any minor slip up usually means a bogey or worse.

Hole 6

Hole 6 - Par 4

393 yards | Blue

358 yards | White

311 yards | Red

Welcome to "Cardiac Hill". Hole 6 plays straight up the mountain, making it the hardest rated hole at Ledgeview. It's not just the length that makes it challenging; the tee shot requires impeccable accuracy while the elevated green is difficult to hold. A par is like a birdie on the 6th.

Hole 7

Hole 7 - Par 4

418 yards | Blue

401 yards | White

365 yards | Red

Hole 6 took us up the hill, Hole 7 brings us back down. Hit a solid drive on this hole, and you can brag to your friends how you hit it as long as Bryson. Local tip: it may not appear so, but the green on 7 is exceptionally flat.

Hole 8

Hole 8 - Par 3

216 yards | Blue

197 yards | White

152 yards | Red

The signature hole at Ledgeview is picturesque indeed, but don't be distracted, as it requires your focused attention. The wind and pin position can alter this hole from being somewhat gentle to frustratingly difficult. Par is always a great score on the 8th.

Hole 9

Hole 9 - Par 5

459 yards | Blue

443 yards | White

382 yards | Red

459 yards on the scorecard, but plays like 530 yards in real life. Play the 9th as a 3-shot hole, and things should be more relaxing. But if you want some risk-reward, challenging the dogleg is an option. Just remember to take at least one extra club on your approach shot.

Hole 10

Hole 10 - Par 4

328 yards | Blue

312 yards | White

282 yards | Red

Short enough to drive, but definitely not recommended. It's practically impossible to stay on the green, and endless trouble surrounds it. Instead, hit a tee shot to the 100 yard marker, then wedge it on from there.

Hole 11

Hole 11 - Par 3

190 yards | Blue

175 yards | White

146 yards | Red

The smallest green on the course, pitching severely from left to right, walking away with par on the 3rd is a job well done. The smart play is to err short, avoiding the bunker on the left, and at least giving yourself a chance to get up and down for par.

Hole 12

Hole 12 - Par 4

404 yards | Blue

390 yards | White

390 yards | Red (Par 5)

We lied when we said Hole 6 was the toughest, it's actually the 12th. The tee shot not only needs to fly straight, but also needs to travel the right distance, a rare requirement for a par 4 tee shot. If you get that done, then at least you have a chance to hit the most undulating green at Ledgeview. Good luck to all.

Hole 13

Hole 13 - Par 4

405 yards | Blue

383 yards | White

351 yards | Red

The safe, and arguably the best play, is to hit to the 150 yard marker, leaving a simple approach to the green. Challenging the bunker on your tee shot often results in regret. A pin location on the left side gives a great opportunity to stick one close, while one on the right side proves the opposite.

Hole 14

Hole 14 - Par 3

180 yards | Blue

145 yards | White

110 yards | Red

The 14th wonderfully epitomizes Ledgeview with its incredible nature-filled views, combined with the forced-carry ravine in front of the green. It's not a difficult hole, but it will definitely penalize a mishit off the tee.

Hole 15

Hole 15 - Par 4

412 yards | Blue

368 yards | White

306 yards | Red

Stay below the hole. We mean it!

Hole 16

Hole 16 - Par 4

389 yards | Blue

375 yards | White

346 yards | Red

Bombs away off this tee, as you blast towards the North Shore Mountains. An accurate tee shot will leave you an opportunity to stick one close, but with plenty of undulation on the green, even short putts require undivided attention.

Hole 17

Hole 17 - Par 3

131 yards | Blue

113 yards | White

113 yards | Red

It's a shorter, trickier version of Hole 14. You'll only need a wedge, and with a good one, you'll have a reasonable look at birdie. Get on the wrong side of the hole however, and you'll be tapping your putt so lightly that you'd prefer to just blow on it.

Hole 18

Hole 18 - Par 5

521 yards | Blue

502 yards | White

404 yards | Red

Remember what we said about all of Ledgeview's par 5's playing remarkably uphill? That continues at the 18th, as only the longest of hitters will have a chance to get home in two. No matter how you play the hole, we guarantee that multiple sidehill lies await.
