Obstructions: Anything artificial, such as cart paths or their worn extensions, drain covers, irrigation heads, and protective fences. Free relief from stance and swing. One club length. Nearest point of full relief not closer to the hole. The railroad ties located within the bunkers on holes #2 and #8 are immovable obstructions; if they interfere with the lie of the ball, stance or intended swing, free relief can be taken within the bunker.

Yellow Penalty Area: The pond on #3 is marked by yellow stakes. When a ball is known to have come to rest in this penalty area, the player under a one-stroke penalty can play again from the previous spot(Stroke & distance relief) or can take it back on the line relief, keeping the point where the ball last crossed the edge of the penalty area directly between the hole and the spot where the ball is dropped. 

Drop Zones: Official drop zones are in play, and relief may be taken in those zones on holes #13, #14 & #17 for players who end up hitting it into the No Play Zone.

Wood Chips, Mulch, Long Grass & Areas of Ground Sown: Wood chips and mulch used around the course are considered loose impediments; play the ball as it lies, however, without penalty, a player may remove a loose impediment. Unstaked areas of long grass are considered to be in the general area and must be played as is. Areas of ground sown with seed and not marked with white lines are to be treated as GUR, free relief, no closer to the hole than where the ball lies.

Out of Bounds: Out of bounds is defined by white stakes, white lines, or boundary fencing. A ball at rest is out of bounds only when ALL of it is outside the boundary edge.  Cart Storage area, maintenance, parking lot & the road are all out of bounds and marked by white paint & stakes. If in doubt, please play a provisional ball.

Animal Hoof Damage: Damage in the "General Area" that is clearly identifiable as having been caused by animal hoofs is deemed Ground Under Repair (G.U.R). Free relief. One club length. Nearest point of full relief not closer to the hole. Such damage on any green may be repaired.

No Play Zones: No play zones are identified with red stakes and green tips. Relief MUST be taken from no play zones under regular penalty area guidelines 17.1 (d). 

Penalty Areas: A PA is an area from which if the player’s ball comes to rest there, relief with a one-stroke penalty is allowed. A PA may or may not contain water. Red Penalty Areas are defined by red stakes/ paint. The transition from Penalty Area to No Play Zones is clearly defined with red stakes and then red stakes with green tips.
