An invite-only program for highly-skilled and dedicated juniors. The goal for this program to develop juniors into elite competitors and follow along the footsteps of Ledgeview Legends Nick Taylor and Adam Hadwin.
The Ledgeview Junior Development Program is a premier training opportunity designed for dedicated and skilled junior golfers looking to take their game to the next level. Under the expert guidance of award winning coaches Brady Stead (Director of Instruction) and Luke McKenzie (Head Professional) selected juniors will receive weekly training on Thursday evenings from May to September. The program’s structure mirrors that of collegiate golf programs, providing a comprehensive, focused approach to player development. Only committed and talented junior golfers will be chosen to join the program, ensuring an elite and motivated group of individuals working together to refine their skills and reach their full potential.
The program is broken down into three age categories:
Linksters - ages 6-10
Bantams - ages 10-14
Seniors - ages 14-18
Depending on the age category, we will alter our coaching strategies. However, below are some of the topics that will be covered:

Ledgeview's Junior Development Program contributed to the club’s recognition in winning the 2024 Junior Golf Opportunity Award from Golf Canada.
Coach Brady’s dedication to Junior Golf at Ledgeview has earned him significant recognition, including being named the 2025 PGA of BC Lower Mainland Coach of the Year. His commitment to youth development also led to him winning the 2024 PGA of BC Jack McLaughlin Junior Golf Leader of the Year Award and the 2023 PGA of BC Community Leadership Award.
Luke has a vast amount of golf instruction knowledge over his 35 years of experience as a PGA Professional, teaching over 15,000 lessons over his career. Luke is an award-winning player and has competed on the Canadian Tour, Great Lakes Tour, Vancouver Golf Tour, PGA of Canada, PGA of Ontario, PGA of Alberta, & PGA of BC and holds the title of 2005 Ontario PGA Spring Open Champion.
